Rodney earned his B.S. in Psychology and an M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University, graduating with honors and is a member of The National Honors Society of Psychology. He is also a certified Prepare Enrich Counselor. His focus of research included healthy parenting styles, neuroscience, multicultural counseling, and the integration of psychology and Christian theology. Rodney's experience include working with both individuals and families, and crisis/trauma counseling. With training in Coaching Psychology, he offers life and executive coaching. He and his wife, Laurie have conducted training and seminars throughout the United States on topics including: crisis counseling; mourning, bereavement, and loss; parenting styles; and understanding and connecting with Millennials. He has researched and written over 20 articles on subjects including parenting styles, healthy child discipline, personality development, domestic abuse, and addictions.

Rodney works under the umbrella of L. L. Mulhollem Counseling and Psychotherapy (LLM) whose focus is the church, pastors, and other organizations. He and his wife reside in the Elizabethtown/Mt. Gretna area. Together, they enjoy working with others and volunteer hours with a local church's community meal, Elizabethtown Celebrate Recovery, Elizabethtown Ministerium, Churches that Care, Communities that Care, and their home church. For fun, they enjoy traveling to new places and visiting family living in PA, IL, WA, and UT. They have two married daughters, one grandson and one grandson on the way.
